Journal de Montréal presents Atlantis Strength as a family-owned SME from Laval that has quietly become a global reference in strength-training equipment.

The article tells the story of how former Canadian bodybuilding champion Raymond Sansoucy started hand-building machines in 1982, and how the company now exports its high-end equipment to more than 60 countries, serving professional teams and celebrities from the New York Rangers to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

It emphasizes the biomechanics and rigorous in-house testing of each machine at Atlantis’s own gym in Laval, as well as a business model driven by product quality and word-of-mouth rather than large-scale advertising.
